How many wheels does the Banwood Maxi scooter have?

Two. The Maxi is the two-wheel kick scooter in the Banwood range, for kids from age 6. The classic Banwood scooter and the Eco scooter both have three wheels.

Who is the Maxi scooter for?

Bigger kids who have outgrown a three-wheel scooter. Two wheels are faster and more responsive, but they ask the rider to balance, so the Maxi suits a child who already rides without tipping.

Is the Maxi handlebar adjustable?

Yes. The T-bar handlebar adjusts in height, so the scooter can be raised as your child grows.

Does the Maxi scooter have a brake?

Yes, a wide rear fender brake over the back wheel, easy to find with one foot.

When should my child move from a three-wheel scooter to the Maxi?

Once they ride the three-wheel scooter confidently, steer without tipping and stop reliably with the foot brake.
