What age is the Banwood Classic 16 inch bike for?

The Classic 16 inch is designed for children aged roughly 4 to 7. It sits between the 14 inch (ages 3 to 6) and the 20 inch (ages 6 to 10) in the Classic range.

How do I know the bike fits my child?

Use inseam rather than age. Your child should sit on the saddle and reach the ground comfortably, and stand over the frame with clearance. Between sizes, the smaller bike is easier to control.

What is the Banwood Classic bike made of?

A steel frame in the vintage Banwood silhouette, with a hand-woven wicker basket and a 2-year warranty.

Does my child need training wheels?

Children coming from a balance bike usually don't — balance is the skill they have already learned, so most go straight to pedalling.
