What age is a Banwood scooter for?

The Banwood three-wheel scooter is made for children aged 3 to 12, with three handlebar settings so one scooter covers a long stretch of childhood.

Is a three-wheel scooter better for a toddler?

For younger riders, yes. Two front wheels stop the scooter tipping at rest and let a child concentrate on kicking and steering instead of balancing.

How does a Banwood scooter steer?

By leaning: the child tilts the handlebar and the scooter carves in that direction, which builds the same instinct a bicycle needs.

Does the Banwood scooter have a brake?

Yes, a rear foot brake. The child steps down on the fender over the back wheel with their heel, which is more intuitive at this age than a hand brake.

Which scooter should I choose for an older child?

The Banwood Maxi. It is the two-wheel kick scooter in the range, for children who already ride confidently and want a faster, more responsive ride than three wheels allow.
