What age is a Banwood balance bike for?

Banwood balance bikes are designed for children aged roughly 2.5 to 5. Check your child's inseam against the saddle rather than relying on age: they should sit with both feet flat on the ground.

What balance bike models does Banwood make?

The core First Go range in permanent colors, the limited-edition Icon Collection in special colorways, and collaboration editions. All share the same frame, geometry and age range — the choice is finish, not specification.

Is a balance bike better than training wheels?

Yes. A balance bike teaches balance and steering first, so most children move onto a pedal bike without ever needing training wheels.

What is included with a Banwood balance bike?

The hand-woven wicker basket and a bell, with a vegan leather saddle and grips, and a 2-year warranty.
